Sail and SV2 are very grateful for the Police and Crime Commissioner's (PCC) support in securing £166k for each charity from Derbyshire Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) to enable them to continue to provide therapy services over the next year for adults who have experienced rape, sexual assault or abuse. This funding will provide both charities with much needed interim funding whilst they try and secure longer term sustainable funding.
Ruth Gartland – Head of Services at SAIL said “We are pleased to have support from the PCC and the CCGs for service provision across Derbyshire. Sexual violence has long lasting impacts for victims/survivors and access to ongoing services to support them is crucial.
Sally Goodwin CEO at SV2 – Supporting Victims of Sexual Violence Ltd said “We would like to thank the PCC for his support in securing this funding which will provide a number of victims/survivors in Derbyshire with the therapeutic support they very much need and deserve.
